GETTING STARTED

  • Follow the download instructions on your iPhone 7 or newer

  • Double tap and hold near the center of the screen for the app to start running (ensure you're on a sidewalk and holding it at stomach-level).

  • Practice walking left and right across a sidewalk in order to get a feel for the vibrations.

WHILE IN USE

  • Dull vibration means left, sharp means right.

  • The recommended direction is also displayed on screen.

  • A very strong vibration means you should turn immediately (within 1-2 steps), while no vibration means you should go straight.

TIPS AND TRICKS

  • ​Have your white cane at the ready; some obstacles may not be recognized by the app.

  • Only use the app when on a sidewalk; don't rely on it to cross a road or to navigate indoors.

  • Don't use it at night or in less than ideal conditions (i.e. construction, snow, rain, etc.)
